 * When going down ladders, make sure you're facing the ladder. Otherwise, you'll fall and take damage. The easiest way to go down is to turn around an step backward. Crouching helps for ladders in tunnels. Press forward to grab onto the ladder once you start falling. As long as you reach out for it before you land, you won't  take falling damage.

* Buy Leather armor at the start to protect yourself against ranged attacks from afar and unexpected melee attacks. Later you can upgrade.

* You are one of the two characters with good long range accuracy, making you more suited for ranged fights than melee.

* Because arrows are a bit harder to see than knives or magical projectiles, you have a slight advantage when firing from a sniper position. It make take a while for the enemy to figure out where your shots are coming from.
