Posts: 83 (12/18/08 4:26 AM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Remove this ad How about the pro modders start to make new weapons (Simply taking old weapons and changing the skin model and making them do different things) Suck as: Cross bow shooting fire ball, nade pushing you back (Witch blammo is working on if im correct) And then wen its all done, release it as a patch/update! New weapons! Only thing is fitting them all on the buy list.. I think if you go up to 10 on the buy list all you need to do is press 1-0 realy fast.. Ill investigate it.. Well, who's in? I AM!!! Also switching the skin modle is easy, I did it with a few things already :P Makes some weapons look pimped!!! EDIT: I check is more then 9 buy items on a list works, yes it dose, pressing 10 makes you buy the 10th item! Normal arrows are from the Bow of Carnage and the 2nd shot is from Fire Ring Staff, of corse the right click is slower then the Fire Ring Staff and a little little bit weaker. but left click shot it stronger then the Bow of Carnage! A fair price for it is 2000 I think :P Heres some screen shots What do you think of it? PS: That aint its normal ammo, its my servers ammo :P Looks sexy dosnt it IT SHOOTING FIRE!!!! Buy menu

But I still want the other nade to be usable, so I need to add a new line to the PROJECTILE.TXT But after I do that and add it to weapons, Wen I buy it, I can't throw it or anything if I change the name of it. but if I just copy and past the other nade line and make no changes, it doesn't do anything else different. How am I going to add a hold new weapon(nade) with out anything going wrong?? Im probaly over looking it or under looking it, i'm tired and been sick lately..

I think it has to do with adding a new line to Projectile, but seem to not work out... Gravity nade: A nade that pulls people into it!!! XD If this is possible: Bouncy nade: A nade that bounces around alot before it explodes: No idea how this is getting to be done tho,, Any more idea's? Or tips? POST HERE!! Also need help from me? Just ask :P PS: If your new to modding, I suggest you practice alot, change things, until you start to get what's what! Posts: 2102 (12/18/08 5:55 PM) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	years ago people made lots of modded files but the thing is no one really wanted to install them and change their basic lomm game properties since most of the servers have the normal configuration and people disliked altering certain things about their game that made their actions work funny in regular servers. By altering your files you will get price and buy differences when in regular servers and a uniform game is what i think most desire. Some things can be altered server side that affect all players joining and some things have to be altered in the player files for certain extreme effects so it can get complicated with all the adding of files. Ive been running a server side mod on the nades for years which i named "Force Nades" since they dont require any player mods and i feel are more realistic to the effect of a real explosion. You just need to adjust the force properties of the nade for its push effect and of course u can change the damage to whatever u like. i dont mean to be a downer but i doubt you will have much luck with getting people to mod their games so i would try to work on server side mods that wouldnt need player downloads to work. if u look around the archives you can find threads where people have tried to create mods for their servers. I have a few downloaded somewhere of very early ones made.....such as Melee of the Gods and Yahoo91's big mod. goodluck with whatever u decide to do..
