LoMM Anti-Crash




The anti-crash files available here are modified versions of the original lomm game installation files. They have the same name as the original files and just replace your existing versions to aid in preventing certain crashes in the game that are a result of players attacking a server with code.

There are two versions of the anti-crash fix available to choose from based on your lomm copy version. If the one you choose doesn't work right then try the other download version. It's not going to hurt anything. Dont forget to store your original lomm versions of the file into a safe place before you install the anti-crash one in its place.

Also it's probably best to have already updated your Legends game with the LoMM Retail Patch 1.1 before you go about using the anti-crash files here.


Select your Legends game Version.

Download one of the files above and then unzip the file. Use the files in the zip for the following instructions.



SERVER.DLL Instructions


1. Find your original server.dll in your Legends main directory by using Windows Explorer.

Look for C:\Program Files\3DO\Legends of Might and Magic\server.dll

2. Move the original server.dll to a safe location like placing it in a new folder somewhere.

3. Insert the new server.dll file in the same directory you got the original from.




CSHELL.DLL Instructions


1. Find your original server.dll in your Legends DATA directory by using Windows Explorer.

Look for C:\Program Files\3DO\Legends of Might and Magic\Data\cshell.dll

2. Move the original cshell.dll to a safe location like placing it in a new folder somewhere.

3. Insert the new cshell file in the same directory you got the original from.
