11/12/25 – Thanks to everyone who joined Gathering #44 last weekend! What began as a single-day Saturday event quickly grew into a full two-day weekend, thanks to the surge of interest and excitement. Much fun was had across both days — nearly eight hours of classic LoMM battles filled the halls once again. Some who couldn’t make it Saturday even managed to join on Sunday, keeping the action alive till the end. ⚔️
The LoMMHQ site continues to evolve as its rebuild progresses. A brand-new Clan Match Archive section is in development, set to showcase screenshots and relics from ancient battles between the old clans — a tribute to the rivalries and alliances that shaped our early days.
We’ve also seen a welcome wave of new players discovering LoMM lately — always a great sight! The new all-in-one download is helping immensely, as are the long-time lommers spreading the word wherever they can. A few familiar faces from years past have even returned to the fold — and that, friends, is always something special. 🕯️
The Discord voice chat has been a big hit too, adding another layer of fun for those who like to talk while they play. It’s an easy-going space for laughs, battle chatter, and friendly banter — completely optional, but always there if you’d like to join the voices of the realm.
Looking ahead, the final Gathering of the year has been announced — a two-day event on Saturday, December 13th and Sunday, December 14th, 2025. This one will mark the close of a truly successful chapter in Gathering history. Back in 2011, we held 9 Gatherings — and now, 2025 ties that record with 9 events of its own. Combined with the 5 from 2024 leading into this year, this era of Gatherings has been one of our most active and exciting yet.
Next year, expect even more. Fresh content and new creations are on the horizon — beginning with a new map releasing at the end of this year, and continuing into early 2026 with the debut of a new Gathering built around that map and the upcoming Might & Magic Resource Pack. ✨
Things are continuing to look up in LoMM land. Stay warm out there, lommers — and we’ll see you once more in December for our final Gathering of 2025!
10/31/25 – Happy Halloween, Lommers! 🎃The halls of LoMMHQ are alive with change once again! The site is currently undergoing a full rebuild and host migration, so expect to see ongoing updates as the new foundation takes shape. Our News section has been revived with newly unearthed posts — long-lost archives from the early HQ days have returned from the depths, restoring pieces of our shared history.🕯️
Mark your calendars: Gathering #44 begins November 8th, 2025! Sharpen your blades and prepare your spells — the next battle for glory is nearly upon us.
And that’s not all. This winter, new treasures await. Around Christmas, a massive LoMM Might & Magic Resource Pack will be released — a player download filled with unused textures, models, and sounds pulled straight from the original game’s source creation files. These authentic LoMM and Might & Magic IX assets will open the door to a richer, more expansive world with hundreds of new resources for mapmakers and adventurers alike.
To crown the season, a brand-new map — “Ransom at Ravensford” — will debut alongside the Resource Pack. This project re-imagines the Might & Magic IX location within the LoMM engine, expanding the original design with new structures, details, and atmosphere built upon its classic foundation. So yeah, we have a few good things happening in the LoMM community right now so come on out and join us if ya can and ya feel like nading a Pally or something! :p
10/17/25 – The chill of October 🎃 drifts through the realms, and the echoes of our last Gathering still linger like embers in the dark. Many thanks to all who answered the call — the duels were fierce, the spells bright, and the laughter strong. You kept the ancient halls alive once more. Now, as the shadows lengthen and the leaves turn gold, the next call rises — Gathering #44 will be held on November 8th at 1pm EST / 5pm GMT. The gates will open again for all who wish to step through and test their might beneath the fading autumn sun. Find your way to the Discord through the Links page and join the voices of your fellow adventurers. The servers stir, the fire crackles, and the age of LoMM endures — even as the world grows cold. 🍂
09/14/25 – Greetings, fellow lommers! The site is currently undergoing a rebuild🏰, so you might notice a few things looking different or under construction. Everything should be back in order soon.
A few weekends ago, we had another great two-day Gathering event! The Discord mics were alive with laughter, spells, and a fair bit of chaos as we blasted each other with magic weapons. Our next event is coming up on the weekend of September 27th & 28th, with start times at 1pm ET on both days. Come on out and have a blast with us! 08/03/25 – The Gatherings keep on rolling…… we had #41 happen last weekend and we had a good lommim time at that. So much fun was had that we are doing not one, but 2 events this upcoming weekend! The 9th and 10th of August at 1pm Eastern Standard. Looking forward to some more classic lomm action….come join us!
07/12/25 – We had a good LoMM Birthday blast with around 25 other lommers at this past Gathering #40….thanks to all that could make it out! We have another Gathering planned for Saturday July 26th at 1pm ET.
We have to give special thanks to some new players in the community. LoMM fixer and updater Zolsana for this incredible work on the updated lomm files we have now and to Adjino for his work and connections in getting this done. LoMM runs really smooth and is very stable on win 10 and 11. Gamespy Internet search service is back but uses Openspy service to pull the server list now. New video files make the game feel amazing. Download if you want to come have a lil nostalgic 2001 era fun! ⚔️

02/21/25 – Well we had a blast just recently in lomm land. We had a great turnout for the End of year Gathering in Dec and then had another event in Feb with another great turnout! 08/04/24 – Greetings to any adventurers still out there! I’ve been away for a bit but am happy to say i’m back to updating the site again. Thanks to all that came out to Gathering #32 back in Oct of 2021. We just Gathered again a few days ago thanks to Minotaur with event #33 and even though its been 3 years it was a big success! We hope to put on a regular event every couple of months so check in on the Legends fb group or the NEWS here closer to the event for more info.
10/01/21 – Greetings Lommers! It’s been a while since an update so how about one full of good news? We’ve have had a bit of a resurgence in the game as of late thanks to some fellow lommers dedication around the game and the greater implementation and function of the LoMM Discord server. Be sure to download that, you can now tell who is in the game servers with it.
Also we have Gathering #32 taking place on Oct 16th 2pm EDT / 7pm GMT. Come on out and lomm it up for the games 20th Birthday event. A gaming stream is planned so that should be cool. Hope to see you there!

02/22/20 – Here we are in 2020 and i’m over here dusting off LoMM HQ and getting ready for the spring. We have a HELP page now that has been created to possibly aid those with LoMM game issues. Luckily we have a few solid solutions to the old problems that we had with the more modern PC’s. The Rimfrost LoMM game server has had an IP change. Update your games saved IP’s to the new one at the top right of this site.
07/01/19 – A big thank you to those that came out to Gathering #31 this past week. Had fun shaking it up on LoMM with some folks for a few hours which is always nice to do with this game being as old as it is. A new event will be planned soon. 03/04/17 – Lots of good things happening in LoMM these days. We had a nice 2 part Gathering event in Feb that went well enough that we are doing a 🍀”St. Patty’s Day Madness” two part Gathering event this month as well. 02/03/17 – We’re back at it again lommers! We have a 2 part Gathering event lined up this month that we are calling the “Valentines Massacre”💘. It will be spread out over 2 weekends this month with the first kicking off on Feb 11th at 2pm (EST).
The following weekend on the 18th at 2pm (EST) will be part 2 of the Gathering event. Drop on in for a game or two if you can!

12/17/16 – We had some really good news in the LoMM community this week! Fellow lommer {DbD}Xviper created some files to aid in Win 10 use with LoMM. The modern operating systems can have certain issues with LoMM and its older directX version. These files can help with that area.. Lots of success from folks so far. 🙂

02/18/04 – New Banning Program for LoMM Servers! A program is available for LoMM servers, this program will allow you to log peoples IP and Alias
making it easy to ban them. This small program will STOP Server crashers and generally abusive people AND restarts your server automatically when it crashes. It is offered to ALL SERIOUS LoMM servers. At the moment this program is only available for NT/XP users but Big Chief is working on one for Windows 9X/ME. Future features will include a Crashing/Other cheating Prevention tool. An Aimbot Prevention tool. A big thanks to Big Chief for creating this program. Maybe with time and hard work we can make LoMM a nice place for gamers once again. LoMM HQ and YLL will bring you this program VERY SOON. so “Watch this space”. Thank you Big Chief!

09/18/03 – No updates on the site since the game got old and I lost interest in playing it and see what’s going on in community. Site was paid from my credit card for over a year to keep it pop-up free, so now it will be full of adds……….Thx for you support…. we got pretty huge clan match archive and still active forum for all clans. 05/21/03 – Sometimes, even though you do your best in clan match, there is someone a little bit better who goes ahead of you and takes MVP in a match. This will change on HQ and new LoMM player rating will be soon introduced. Take a look on a battles section, as you can see there are two additional columns added. First of three columns belongs to match MVP and he earns the highest score. In the second one, 2nd best performer on the winning team. Finally, the 3rd column presents best performer of a loosing team, he gets the lowest score but it always counts. I suggest the following scoring system: 1st MVP – 3 points, 2nd MVP – 2 points, 3rd MVP – 1 point. However, I was thinking about giving 1st MVP 4 points but we will see soon. Also, if you have any suggestions, don’t hesitate and e-mail me. The Stats section should be up somewhere in June.. -lommserver

Yesterday, I updated battles section so go check recent clan match results 🙂 For the first time, and not the last one, I made a chart with best performances of those who earned MVP in clan matches. 03/21/03 – LoMM HQ is hosting Photo Album of Lommers, check this out! http://lomm.angelcities.com/lommers. Special Thanks to Jesus who collected those pictures! There are probably many mistakes in names and also missing info about the person. If you could please send me correct info so I can fix it. Legends of Might and Magic: Warcraft III Chapter website is coming soon on LoMM HQ. If your clan needs a website or you would like to add some section to LoMM HQ and maintain it, I can host it !!! For the clan website it’s $10 a year. I accept PayPal, for more info e-mail me. Fee is charged to cover some costs I pay for the website, and I dont make any profit by taking those $10. If it’s section for LoMM it will be for free. Most important: LoMM HQ is Pop-up and Add free. Only requirement is to have Microsoft Front Page Express 2002 or 2002 (recommended). 01/13/03 – Some small updates today. I just got fresh link from HotFlow http://tfa.dkserver.dk – it’s of course new TFA website ! Galahad e-mailed me that tWt’s server is ready to handle clan matches. So, I updated ‘Servers’ section and put e-mails to the owners of major servers so now it should be easy to request preferred server. I will only add that tWt’s server is same as FoC1 – same IP = same server location. 2v2 Tourney update: there are about 55 teams registered right now, so if you haven’t done that yet – there are still few free slots left……. 12/10/02 – Time for FoC servers has unfortunately came. Day of December 10, 2002 will be sad for those who play LoMM. FoC servers were with no doubt best American servers that were to serve public as well as clan matches. I know Gabriel didn’t get enough money to fund servers for another month or two, it’s not his fault. We are thankful that he/she saved LoMM for almost a year after 3DO shut down their servers (it was scheduled even before official release of game). Now we only hope someone else will fund some T1 or T3 server that can handle 16 people. I know there will be few small severs on Cable or DSL. I’m doubtful those are good for clan matches because of lag and program crashes. As you can see our main page has been nicely modified by lommenforcer, we will keep working on it. I have a plans to make it LoMM 2 site later on. I encourage all clans to send their screen shoots so they can stay safe here and be a part of our history. My e-mail is lommserver@msn.com
11/27/02 – I have received many e-mails from the clan leaders recently about the rudeness of Alf members but especially their leader. Also as you probably noticed Alf is only playing on European servers which gives them advantage in every match against American clans. For now I’m forced to remove Alf from the clan menu on the right side, however they can stay in the clan’s section and might be back on the main site again when they calm down a bit and their number on matches on YLL will equal those played on FoC. 11/17/02 – Today only small update in Battles section, some recent matches’ results and MVPs has been “announced” (updated). Also some cosmetic changes that make this section look better ;). I would also like to note that I got SS from more organized clans and up to date websites. Send me the SS from the matches not listed in the section, include date and server and I will take care of rest. We will have webmaster joining us in the next few days (or hours 😉 so wait for an official announcement (or rather welcome) and of course more UPDATES!!! -lommserver
11/12/02 – Getting through the different forums and websites, I’ve found some interesting stuff that I would like to share with everyone: – http://www.four20.homestead.com/420FirstLomm.html you will find many pics from the early stages of the game, some of them look really awesome. – according to Gelfin from BM, 3DO is currently preparing the sequel of LoMM. It won’t be the same shooter like it is right now, instead authors want to restate oryginal concept and make it Role Playing game made on the same engine as Dark Ages of Camalot. Estimated cost per month playing on the internet is $10 but most likely will change when the game is released in late 2003. Most of us will not be able to afford this cost so I propose we should come up with some petition or something that will allow current LoMM players to have free account of at least trial. I will make a post on the Forum and we will see what we can do together. More on this topic in Gelfin’s post. updated Battles (I’m currently reorganizing all ss) section and Clan list. Each clans profile will have to wait until I finish all of them. -lommserver
11/06/02 – After a long break, “we” are back. I updated some of the sections. That includes Battles, Clans and Info. Because updating each clan’s page takes some time, I will slowly update a couple of them each day. FoC will be organizing a LoMM Tournament so make sure your clan is registered if you want to participate. I would like to inform organizators that LoMM HQ can support the tourney and we will provide results of each match. Live stats will also be available for some of the matches (we will try). I will be working on new design, some pictures will change, menu also. As we said Good Bye to 2 of our webmasters (who did practically nothing to the website) I will be accepting new people who actually can do something. FoC needs help in founding servers so if you can donate a couple of bucks it will help us all as we use FoC servers very often. All the information can be found in Gabriel’s post. I would like to promote Alf for they good performances in a clan matches and continuous effort in developing a clan and put the small icon in the right menu. I will update that soon ! Also I will find a pic for you (unless you have your own). If your clan is not listed in the Clan’s list section or you have ss from the matches plz e-mail them to me so I can update the website. -lommserver
